Land succession support
Transferring land is never just a transaction — it’s about legacy, trust, and ensuring your land is cared for into the future. We know this can be both a practical and emotional process, especially when you or your family have been stewards of the land for a long time.
Our Land Succession Support service is designed to guide you through every step of the journey, making sure the transition is smooth and sustainable. We’ll help you identify suitable future stewards — often community-led organisations — and support them to put in place the plans and structures they need to manage the land with care, in perpetuity.
Local nature recovery in practice
Across the UK, local authorities are under growing pressure to show leadership on climate, biodiversity, and land use. Whether through England’s Local Nature Recovery Strategies or similar devolved initiatives in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, the challenge is the same: moving from strategy to delivery.
Our Local Nature Recovery in Practice package helps you bridge that gap. We work with your team to:
- Translate high-level strategies into practical, local projects
- Facilitate partnerships with landowners, communities, and environmental groups
- Explore funding options and income streams that make recovery sustainable
- Create clear action plans that demonstrate impact and value for money
Future-proofing public land
Many local authorities face the challenge of holding on to land while also making it work harder for the public good. County farms, estates, and other public assets can deliver real value — but only if they are reimagined for today’s needs and tomorrow’s opportunities.
Our Future-Proofing Public Land package helps you explore what’s possible. Through feasibility work tailored to your assets, we assess options for retaining and repurposing land, unlocking new income streams, and ensuring the benefits remain shared by the whole community.
